Me, You, and a Book Too!

This Bruce County Public Library initiative provides every baby who is a resident of Bruce County with materials designed to make it easy for parents and caregivers to practice early literacy with their baby.

If you are a resident of Bruce County, please inquire about a free kit at your local Bruce County Public Library Branch.

Book Club Kits

Our Book Club Kits are available to all library cardholders for free!

Each kit contains 10 copies of a single title, appropriate for adults, packaged in a cloth bag. Kits are available for a 6-week loan period, and library cardholders can have two kits checked out at the same time.

Sign-out sheets and Discussion Guides are also available for each Book Club Kit.

The TD Summer Reading Club

The TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s biggest, bilingual summer reading program for kids of all
ages, interests and abilities.

This free Club is offered every summer at our branches, as well as online. The Club celebrates Canadian authors, illustrators and stories, and inspires kids to explore the fun of reading their way. This is key to building a lifelong love of reading.

Read and Play Every Day

Learn and play with words as your baby grows!

Read books and complete activities to earn prizes with your child as they grow from baby to preschooler.
